Sevim has been going to house cleaning for many years to Ayten and she has an organizing role in the house. Sevim provides financial support to her daughter Demet and her son-in-law Sermet. Ayten’s (Kosovian) helper Lena has an accident. This accident triggers legal problems between the parties. Ayten pushes Sevim, to convince Lena to give up. Sevim, who is very focused on solving the problem of Milena in favor of Ayten, experiences moral, conscientious and class conflicts in the process.

Director ERKAN TAHHUŞOĞLU

Erkan Tahhuşoğlu received his undergraduate education in the Graphic Design Department of GSF at Eskişehir Anadolu University. He studied at the Kunsthochschule Communication Design Department of Braunschweig University in 1998. He founded the production company Şiyara in 2013. His first feature film, Verge, which he shot in 2016, had its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. In 2018, his short documentary Leftovers was selected as the Best Documentary at the Istanbul International Short Film Festival and won the Best Cinematography Award at the Krakow Film Festival. His second feature film, Corridor (Koridor), received the Best Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Art Director awards at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival and won the FIYAB Best Producer Award and Best Actress Award at the Bosphorus Film Festival. The film also received the Best Cinematography and Best Actress awards at the Malatya Film Festival and the Best Actress Award at the Balkan Panorama Film Festival. His latest film, Cycle (2024), premiered at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival.

Director Erkan Tahhuşoğlu’s documentary “Ufku and Ulviye” received Special Mention at the Boston Turkish Festival's 19th Documentary and Short Film Competition. His feature film “Corridor” (Koridor) was screened at the Boston Turkish Film Festival in 2022.
