Director BATUHAN KURT
Batuhan Kurt (Edirne, 1991) completed his primary and secondary education in Edirne. As he was continuing his high school education, he received education in filmmaking in the FilmTurkey project, co-directed by US State Department, SUNY Fredonia and Atlantik Film. His film “Bahar”, which he made as a part of this project, was screened in many national and international festivals and received awards. He made a number of short films since 2009. He filmed “The Border” in 2016 with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Culture. He is a graduate of Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Film Design on Editing, Sound and Cinematography.
