Agricultural and rural production in Turkey is getting less; villages empty and get smaller. The last generation living in these villages grow up with small dreams. The future of these children are unknown. On the one hand, lives in the villages continuously become more difficult and poor; on the other hand, complex big cities... These cities are far and scary places for those children who never left their villages before.
“A Few Ordinary Days” shows us the daily lives of 4 children from different corners of Anatolia, with their worries for the future, their dreams and their questions...
Director PINAR OKAN
Pınar Okan was born in Ankara. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Communication’s Department of Radio-Television and Cinema. Between 2004-2011 she worked at the Turkish Radio and Television (TRT) in numerous documentary projects as assistant director, second director and script writer. Since 2012 she has been working in TRT’s department of documentary programs as a director and producer.
