SYNOPSIS
A criminal lawyer who divides her time between the courthouse and her mother's hospital bed at night, has to make a moral choice that will affect the lives of her mother, the judge, and her murder suspect client - whose defense is turning in his favor.

SELMAN NACAR
Director and Writer
Selman Nacar (1990, Uşak) is a filmmaker with an MFA in Film Directing from Columbia University in New York City. He gave lectures on fictional filmmaking at the same university. He graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law in 2015 and from the Faculty of Film in 2016. He is an alumnus of the Berlinale Talents 2019 and the First Films First 2020. Nacar’s debut Between Two Dawns (İki Şafak Arasında) premiered at the 69th San Sebastian Film Festival and received many awards, including the Best Film Award at the 39th Torino Film Festival. Nacar’s second film, Hesitation Wound (Tereddüt Çizgisi) premiered at the 80th Venice Film Festival.
Selman Nacar is the recipient of Best Short Film Audience Award with The Well (Kuyu) at the Boston Turkish Festival's Documentary & Short Film Competition in 2016. Nacar’s first feature film Between Two Dawns (İki Şafak Arasında) was screened at the Boston Turkish Film Festival in 2022.
